Glynn Thomas taking over as interim CEO at Clugston Group .

Construction, logistics, facilities management and property development company Clugston a £176m turnover group, has announced that its CEO Bob Vickers has left the business having previously tendered his resignation.
The Scunthorpe-based business has appointed Glynn Thomas as interim group CEO. Mr Thomas has a background in construction, as well as facilities services, in both public and private sector organisations.

Clugston Group, the privately-owned company based in Leeds and Scunthorpe which has interests in construction, logistics, facilities management and property development, has announced that CEO Bob Vickers has left the business.
The appointment of Glynn Thomas as interim Group CEO has been announced at the same time. Thomas has a background in construction, as well as facilities services, in both public and private sector organisations.
Clugston said that having achieved a restructuring of the Group, overseen changes to the senior management team and created a new operating platform for each of the Company’s business units, Vickers decided that the next phase of the Group’s development requires different leadership to take the Group forward.
Chairman, John Clugston, expressed disappointment that Mr Vickers had resigned, but is grateful for the positive contribution he has brought to the Group, wishing him well for the future.
John Clugston welcomed the appointment of Thomas to the board as interim CEO.
