LANCER SCOTT 5 YEAR CO-OP MAINTENANCE DEAL

Lancer Scott the Built Environment specialists are proud to announce that as part of the launch of Co-op’s future transformational development of store and funeralcare maintenance and repair, they have partnered with Lancer Scott in a 5 year deal to deliver maintenance & repair services to over 1,300 food stores and funeralcare homes across the South of the UK.

The contract which will see the employment of over 100 dedicated locally based, managers, helpdesk staff, engineers and apprentices whom will deliver an exceptional service through enhanced quality, workmanship and consistency, while building a deeper relationship with the co-op colleagues at store level.
Lancer Scott, as one of only three companies across the UK to be selected, were awarded the contract based on exceptional past performance and value for money.
Working closely with the Co-op property team Lancer Scott built a solution which developed specific technical training and accredited programmes which will dovetail into the co-op ethos and objectives and deliver a seamless property service.

Our investment in working closely with the Co-op property team over the last 12 months and bringing our experience in the sector has led to the development of a flexible solution which will support Co-op today and into the future as they grow.
The partnership will enable Lancer Scott to continue and expand our commitment to the communities we work in across the South of the UK with local jobs for local people and investment in community-based projects. Through a linked apprenticeship scheme, we will expand on our current apprenticeship levels in order to build the next generation of multi-skilled engineers our industry so badly needs”.
The partnership will see Lancer Scott deliver all maintenance and repair works covering all M&E, air-conditioning, fixed wire testing & PAT, plumbing and all fabric elements of store and home assets
