EVO GROUP ACQUIRES £20M PAPER ROLLS MANUFACTURER
Premier Vanguard are said to be the country’s largest independent manufacturer of paper rolls. They currently employ about 80 staff, which generate annual sales of more than £20m ($26m) with over 50,000 customers across the UK, Have been acquired by the Sheffield-based EVO Group of Companies.
The company has achieved double-digit growth thanks to its specialised offerings for verticals such as retail, healthcare and hospitality, making it one of the strongest suppliers of GNFR (goods not for resale) in the UK.
Premier Vanguard co-directors John Clemie and Dominic De Luca said: “We feel that the time is right for Premier Vanguard to enter into a new phase and this transaction will strengthen our ability to drive the excellent diversification course we have proved successful at over the past 12 years. We are excited to be part of a larger group and look forward to the new opportunities this will bring us.”
EVO Group CEO Steve Haworth added: “This acquisition is a good fit with our strategy and will bring a wealth of opportunities to both EVO and Premier Vanguard. Premier Vanguard will continue to run as an independent group company alongside VOW.”
